Derek Vaksdal started out his career as an Industrial Engineer with a Fortune 200 Company, until he had a radical conversion experience in January of 1990. It was only 2 years later that God called him into full time ministry as an Event Coordinator.

He worked for over a decade with YWAM's Impact World Tour and has ministered on 6 continents. As a key fundraiser, campaign coordinator and advisor, he was involved with events with a worldwide attendance of over 1.5 million and more than 145,000 documented decisions for Christ.
