Daniel Southern
Dan Southern has recently joined The Breakthrough as President of the ministry because of his belief in the amazing work God has been doing in and through Stephen Baldwin and a strong conviction for the need to reach today’s youth with a clear yet culturally relevant presentation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

ministries including; The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, Dave Roever’s Evangelistic Association, The Internet Evangelism Coalition, Mission America, Greg Laurie’s Harvest Crusades and Mike Macintosh’s Festivals of Life.
As an ordained minister, Dan’s passion for preaching and teaching has motivated and encouraged many Christians in that which he believes is closest to the heart of God; winning souls for Christ. Audiences enjoy Dan’s friendly presentation and find themselves powerfully motivated by his passion, practical ideas and inspiring examples. Dan also enjoys speaking on other themes such as “Leadership” and “Discipleship” whenever given the opportunity.
Before coming to ATS, Dan served over 18 years as a Crusade organizer with the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. In that role he traveled extensively, speaking and preparing community leaders to gather large audiences to hear the Good News of our Lord proclaimed effectively and boldly. Dan directed many of Mr. Graham’s major crusades while living in such diverse places as Moscow, New York City, London and Amsterdam.
A native of Detroit, Michigan, Dan was raised in a Christian home and made a personal commitment to Jesus Christ at an early age and as a teenager knew that God had called him to full-time service in Christian ministry. He graduated from Taylor University in Indiana where he earned a BA degree with majors in both Philosophy and Bible Literature and has since done graduate work toward his MA in Theology.
Dan and his wife, Lori, have two children; Adam and Tyler. The Southerns live near Dallas, Texas and are active at their local church where Dan serves as an elder. He enjoys spending time with his family, especially attending his children’s sports activities and often relaxes by working in his yard or workshop.
